We are open year round. Our extended summer hours are: Mon-Fri 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Sat 10 a.m.-6p.m. and Sun 12 p.m.-6 p.m.
VJV announces the release of two new wines, Hillside Red and Honey Black Berry. Hillside Red is a semi-dry red wine made from our Chambourcin grapes, and Honey Black Berry is a sweet mead wine.
Von Jakob Vineyard first planted grapes in 1996 and opened its winery in the fall of 1997. VJV offers two locations just minutes apart in Pomona and Alto Pass, IL. We are approximately 15 minutes south of Carbondale, IL, 40 minutes from Cape Girardeau, MO, 1 hour from Paducah, KY and about 2 hours from the St. Louis area. Read More »
