Von Jakob Vineyard Pomona, IL Directions
Owners Dr. Paul and Rhoda Jacobs originally planted their ideal grape growing ground around their family’s Tudor home to give a warm, welcome feeling. This location offers amazing, countryside atmosphere with an intimate setting. On warmer days relax on our covered and uncovered decks overlooking the vineyard. In the colder months sit by the crackling fire inside our atrium or venture outside to the deck that features a monstrous two-story stone fire place (It’s a sight to see!). At any time of year, you will find a warm welcome here.

Or come visit our 2nd location, Von Jakob Orchards and Vineyard is just minutes from the original winery. The setting for this location is at the top of the highest elevated orchard in southern Illinois. With over 20 acres of apples, 10 acres of peaches and 8 acres of grapes one could say the views from our courtyard and decks are immaculate. Don’t forget to visit our Tasting Room with over 20 different award winning wines or our Gift Shop that has something for everyone. Finally, check out our Great Hall that can fit up to 700 people for weddings, festivals and other gatherings, also this room is equipped with a massive fireplace for those colder months.
